Dark Knight Engineering Downer Project

The Downer Project entailed setting up a recycled asphalt plant to process road materials. The DKE team handled mechanical and electrical installation, programming and PLC design. Downer’s operational process involves crushing road chunks sourced from existing deconstructed roads into 10mm-sized rocks, sorting them by size, and creating reusable piles for new road construction. We successfully met the client’s requirements, staying within budget and adhering to the timeline, despite facing wet weather challenges and other setbacks.
